GreenFormation joined partners of ACT Biodiversa+ project in Trondheim, Norway hosted by NINA – Norwegian Institute for Nature Research. The meeting marked the start of an exciting collaboration exploring how transformative governance and collaborative learning can strengthen Transboundary Conservation Areas and contribute to reversing biodiversity loss.
Partners exchanged ideas on the governance challenges facing complex social-ecological systems across Europe and South Africa, while also identifying opportunities for collaboration and shared learning. During the discussions, DAISY tools and methods were presented as inspiring examples for participatory engagement and knowledge co-creation. In particular, participants explored how the care-full courses could serve as a platform for capturing and sharing lessons learned throughout the ACT project.
