Knowing which species exist and how to classify them (taxonomy) is the basic foundation of biodiversity science and policy, but Europe’s systems for this are fragmented. TETTRIX builds a shared, real-time, policy-relevant system for taxonomic data across Europe.
1) Build a scalable European taxonomic data system. 2) Ensure the system is inclusive and policy-aligned. 3) Deliver real-time, FAIR species-level data. 4) Support EU biodiversity policy with actionable taxonomic information.
