In April, Budapest city actors came together for a DAISY workshop to discuss how to operationalise the Hungarian's capital Degrowth Doughnut for urban governance.
DAISY will be part of the upcoming Earth4All Marketplace, a global online event bringing together changemakers working on system change.
DAISY will be present at a special ecological economics event hosted by the Ecological Economics Research Centre at Corvinus University of Budapest on April 27.
DAISY’s second consortium meeting brought together 18 partner organisations from Hungary, Germany, Greece, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands in Budapest from 24–26 March 2026. The three-day event combined intensive working sessions with an urban field visit, offering both strategic reflection and hands-on learning in one of Budapest’s inner districts.
Edit Hunyadi and Ilkhom Soliev will present a poster also featuring DAISY at the British Sociological Association (BSA) Annual Conference 2026: 75 Years of Sociology, taking place in Manchester on 8-10 April 2026.
Elsa Tsioumani, Transdisciplinary Institute for Environmental and Social Studies, attended the sixth session of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI 6) of the Convention on Biological Diversity, held from 16-19 February 2026, in Rome, Italy.
