Standard economics mostly values nature in monetary terms, missing things like cultural meaning and community wellbeing. RELATE4NATURE develops alternative socio-economic models that account for these broader values, testing them in areas like farming, rewilding and urban planning, and shares the approach internationally.
1) Develop socio-economic models recognising relational, not just monetary, values of nature. 2) Test approaches across agriculture, rewilding and urban planning. 3) Use AI-guided tools to support decision-making. 4) Scale successful models through an international knowledge-exchange network.
