Grasslands cover a third of the EU’s farmland and provide food along with important environmental benefits, but they’re declining and poorly tracked. GrassWise gathers harmonised data on grasslands across Europe and builds decision-support tools that help farmers manage them profitably while protecting soil, water and biodiversity.
1) Generate harmonised grassland data across Europe’s climate zones. 2) Co-create decision-support tools for farm and landscape management. 3) Help farmers benchmark and improve grassland multifunctionality. 4) Support CAP policy refinement aligned with EU sustainability goals.
