Farmers who protect nature on their land often aren’t paid for it. REWARD tests and expands ‘results-based’ payment schemes, where farmers get rewarded for real environmental outcomes, and shares funding models and digital monitoring tools with 14 real-life farming hubs across Europe.
1) Upscale results-based and collective payment mechanisms for farmers. 2) Test approaches in 14 real-life Innovation Hubs across 11 countries. 3) Develop scalable funding models and monitoring guides. 4) Provide training and policy briefs to embed schemes into EU farm policy.
