Builds digital 'twin' models of villages to help rural communities plan for climate risks and access funding.

Context

Rural villages face wildfires, floods and droughts, but usually lack the tools cities have to plan for these risks or access financing for adaptation. Smart TwinVill creates interactive digital models of villages that turn climate risk into clear scores, helping communities plan and even access insurance and investment.

Main objectives

1) Co-create Digital Village Twins combining environmental and governance data. 2) Generate transparent ‘Resilience Scores’ for municipal planning. 3) Pilot the approach in three real-world scenarios (wildfire, flood, soil erosion). 4) Link resilience data to insurance products and public/private investment.
