Plant pests threaten crops and forests, and authorities often struggle to predict and respond to outbreaks in time. PhytoPRISM builds a platform combining disease modelling with economic and behavioural data, giving plant health authorities better tools to plan responses and reduce pesticide use.
1) Develop a data-driven platform for systemic pest risk management. 2) Focus on six high-priority EU quarantine pests. 3) Provide tools, training and policy recommendations for authorities. 4) Reduce pesticide reliance and improve preparedness against emerging pests.
