Not defined

Works with farmers across five regions to co-design and test practical biodiversity restoration methods for farmland.

Context

Restoring biodiversity on farmland works best when farmers are directly involved in shaping the solutions. FIREFLIES brings together farmers, scientists and policymakers across five demonstration regions to design, test and evaluate restoration practices that are both ecologically effective and economically workable.

Main objectives

1) Co-design context-specific restoration practices with farmers and stakeholders. 2) Test and assess practices across five demonstration regions. 3) Develop tools supporting sustainable land management. 4) Deliver policy recommendations for economically viable nature restoration.
