Restoring nature — wetlands, forests, farmland — is often undervalued because its benefits aren’t easy to put a price on. ECOMPASS creates a web-based tool that translates restoration’s value into clear numbers investors and policymakers can use, tested across six very different European landscapes.
1) Build a co-created Decision Support System for nature restoration. 2) Develop ‘Nature Restoration Pathways’ as a shared language for policy and finance. 3) Test the approach in six diverse landscape case studies. 4) Deliver bankable, investable metrics to support the EU Nature Restoration Regulation.
