Studies how diet affects mental health, aiming to develop evidence-based nutrition guidelines.

Context

There’s growing evidence that what we eat affects our mental wellbeing, through effects on inflammation and gut bacteria. This project combines clinical studies, lab research and data analysis to understand these links better, then turns the findings into practical dietary guidelines for supporting mental health.

Main objectives

1) Identify dietary patterns and nutrients linked to mental health outcomes. 2) Study the gut-brain axis through clinical and lab research. 3) Use AI and metabolomics to develop personalised dietary recommendations. 4) Deliver evidence-based nutrition guidelines and policy recommendations.

Main results

This project has only just begun. We will update the content as soon as results become available.
