Develops AI-powered tools that tell farmers what will still grow well on their land as the climate shifts.

Context

As climate zones shift, crops that grow well today might not thrive tomorrow, and farmers need help planning ahead. TIPPING builds an AI-based decision-support system that combines climate scenarios with farm-level advice, helping farmers and policymakers plan what to grow, where and when across Europe’s different climate zones.

Main objectives

1) Build an Agricultural Climate Intelligence Stack combining climate and socio-economic data. 2) Deliver AI-powered decision-support tools for farmers and policymakers. 3) Establish five regional hubs across Europe’s climate zones. 4) Support strategic climate adaptation planning for cropping systems.
