The ocean holds many unexplored compounds that could be used in cosmetics, but finding them the old way is slow and inefficient. OCEOMICS uses AI and computational screening to speed up the search for promising marine molecules, then produces them sustainably at scale for use in skincare products.
1) Use AI and computational tools to identify promising marine bioactive compounds. 2) Characterise and optimise their production using biotechnology. 3) Scale up manufacturing for cosmetic applications. 4) Ensure safety and sustainability through Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design principles.
