It’s currently hard to compare how sustainable different textiles or foam products (like mattresses) really are, because there’s no shared measuring method. GREENSPIRE creates official EU rules and tools for this, so manufacturers and shoppers can trust environmental claims and make eco-design easier.
1) Co-develop official environmental footprint rules for home textiles and PU foams. 2) Provide open-access datasets and assessment tools. 3) Support compliance with EU sustainable-products regulation. 4) Promote eco-design and transparent sustainability claims across the sector.
