Restaurants and catering businesses don’t have a good, simple way to measure how circular (waste-reducing, resource-efficient) their operations are. CIRCULARIS creates indicators and AI-powered monitoring tools, including digital product passports, to help this sector track and reduce food waste and packaging use.
1) Build a harmonised circularity indicator framework for food services. 2) Introduce digital product passports for traceability. 3) Develop AI tools to automate waste and resource monitoring. 4) Include consumer-behaviour indicators to support demand-side change.
