On 25 September 2025, DAISY was presented at the Budapest Public Transport Company’s event on innovative sustainability strategies for urban mobility, co-organised with GreenFormation and Corvinus University. The session introduced the “Budapest Degrowth Donut” framework and highlighted how DAISY will help evaluate biodiversity-relevant indicators and integrate them into local and higher-level development strategies, fostering transformative change for biodiversity and equity.
At the end of September, the Budapest Public Transport Company hosted an engaging lecture delving into innovative sustainability strategies for urban mobility. The event was led by presenters from Corvinus University and GreenFormation. With 60 mostly online enthusiastic participants from across the company, the atmosphere was lively and collaborative as new perspectives sparked discussion and curiosity. The lecture focused on the “Budapest Degrowth Donut” framework, a visionary approach for balancing city development with planetary boundaries and social wellbeing, moving beyond mere GDP growth. Attendees explored the complexity of sustainability challenges and learned why radical change is needed not just within infrastructure, but also in mindset and daily operations.
